Financial Workshop Forming!
The Biblical Financial Study for Life Group is a 10 week in-depth study of what Scripture teaches about money and possessions. A group will meet for 2 hours every week. The study includes practical application activities to help you get your financial house in order. Activities include: getting out of debt, spending plans, giving, saving, investing and setting goals. Cost of materials $45 single, and $55 couples. Wesley Woods Work Camp :
Friday May 7th and Saturday May 8th
In preparation for summer camping, Wesley Woods sponsors a work camp to complete needed repairs and perform maintenance at the facility. Last year a small group of adults and youth helped out on a Saturday. We constructed a laundry closet at Elmer's Lodge, hung drywall and trimmed shrubs at the Staff Lodge, and primed drywall and wiped down kitchen shelves at McKnight Hall Dining Facility.
This year First Church is challenging you to set aside a day or two to help. Housing and meals are available.
If these dates do not work for you, they will be holding the camp from May 1-8th.

Church Family Retreat:
What an amazing weekend retreat! We hope that all in attendance had a great time of relaxation and renewed spirit. Planning has already begun for next year's Church Retreat. Mark your calendars for September 24-26, 2010.
